Think Outside The Watermelon

Jessamyn Embry is an American writer and editor living in Avignon, France. She graduated from American University's School of International Service in 2003 with a B.A. in International Relations.

Over the last 10 years she has ridden a motorcycle sidesaddle while wearing a sari, been asked for a kiss by a guard at the Egyptian Museum, and camped with skunks in the New Mexico desert.

When she's not writing for PlanetEye and Art du Voyage, she's exploring the Garrigue and planning her ultimate road trip: Lisbon to Beijing by bus.
